Do you have a CL program running at logon (or something like that) that
is setting JAVA_HOME?

Aside from WRKENVVAR *SYS, there really isn't a system-defined way that
JAVA_HOME would ever get set. So you must be setting it in code
somewhere if you're not setting it by hand.

I thought that was defined in
/qibm/UserData/Java400/SystemDefault.properties

Maybe I'm wrong, but that definitely has the java.version set on systems
that I've seen... and manipulation of the file has been recommended by IBM
to solve some (forgotten) problems in the past.
