The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
NO DNS servers are listed/active yet. Just direct routing to IP addresses.
Ping 192.168.16.20 -> no connection

Try
NETSTAT *IFC
they should be active.
NETSTAT *RTE
should be available
NETSTAT *CNN
should show you the ports, but we'll worry about that later.
When you do CFGTCP
12. Change TCP/IP domain information
F10=Additional parameters
page down
You do have some domain name servers listed, right?
Can you PING the addresses of your DNS'?
If you do NSLOOKUP NRA.ORG
does it display their IP address? And show you which DNS it shot through
to get there?
Can you PING the "next hop" listed at CFGTCP, 2. Work with TCP/IP routes
For example
Route Subnet Next
Destination Mask Hop
*DFTROUTE *NONE 10.10.1.1
10.10.1.1 is one of our routers. I can PING that from my i.
Hint: Always do a CALL QCMD before executing PING's and what not on that
larger command line. Gives you more detail readily available. Try it.
