The i has a command structure that seems obfuscated to newbies, but is
composed of Verb-Noun or Verb-Adjective-Noun. For example Verify TCP
Connection becomes VFYTCPCNN. However, to make myself more multiplatform
aware and not to confuse the ... out of me when I work on windows (or the
rarified experience with Linux) I follow their standards. IOW
you can use: PING, NSLOOKUP and TRACEROUTE on the i. That last one
spelled it out - unlike windows. Are you to the point where you have
access to the command line to try?
