At this point, I've got a lovely console terminal session on my WinDoze box, but I can't get a remote control panel, even though "Control panel partion 1" is checked in the configuration tab. There isn't even a branch for it in the tree-view.

Configuration tab:
"Start connection when Operations Console starts": unchecked
"Allow remote access": grayed and unchecked
"Run unattended": grayed and unchecked
"Use console": checked
"Answer bootp": unchecked
"Control panel partition 1": checked, but checkbox has a gray interior.

The Disinformation Center says something about the service tools user-ID or device-ID not having permission, but the user-ID has full access. I have no idea whether there's a device problem: if I try to go into SST option 8 (Work with service tools user IDs and Devices), if I then select 2 (Service tools device IDs), I get "Work with device IDs from SST disabled."
