We use Crypto Complete here and we are on V5R4 and we too are very happy
with their software. It works on the file field level of a file using
triggers.
It is relatively easy to install and setup, support from Linoma is
great.
It is also reasonably priced compared to other solutions and any fines
you could be imposed if a breach of your company's sensitive information
gets compromised.

In OS400 6.1 I believe we can encrypt entire ASP but what are
different
soln
in V5r4 offering encryption for data at rest.
Need to consider non- V6R1 solutions since do not have V6r1 as of
now.
