We use Crypto Complete for field level encryption. I know it can also do
file level encryption. I'd suggest you give Linoma Software a call or
review their web page to see if it can do ASP level encryption. We began
using their software on V5R3 of the OS.

We did a test with a cryptographic card. There was a noticeable speed
improvement, but with our low CPU load, and relatively low volume of
encryption, it wasn't a good fit for us.

In OS400 6.1 I believe we can encrypt entire ASP but what are different
soln
in V5r4 offering encryption for data at rest.
Need to consider non- V6R1 solutions since do not have V6r1 as of now.
