Q) How do you know a consultant is lying?
A) They say "I managed a successful SAP installation on time and on
budget"

You say that most folks are moving business apps to Wintel... while
that's true, I've been hearing an awful lot of reports of people
switching from IBM i to running SAP on AIX.

Yep, it *could*. I was thinking more in terms of someone who has an i

like Wintel. I wonder about business applications available in AIX?
I
know web serving and DB serving are strong application areas but when
I
scan my memory for an advertisement touting a business application on
AIX I come up dry. I am *sure* they exist (just Google for them) but
in
terms of mind share for business applications, it is predominately
Windows I think.

I guess I'd rather see someone go from i to p than from i to Intel.
