Nope. You need power6 hardware, with a i5/OS 6.1 host, and an i5/OS 6.1
client. Think 6 on 6.1 on 6.1

Can a system running 6.1 host a 5.4 quest lpar? If anything that is what I
would need to do.

I kind of like guest lpars on 6.1 with power 6 hardware. Yes, if the
"host" lpar goes down the rest are toast. But not having to duplicate
most of the hardware is a GREAT plus. Besides, if you have 5 lpars and 15
disk arms, which performs better?
- All 5 lpars using all 15 disk arms
- Each lpar using a 3 drive raid set? (Had to throw in that double whammy
for those in the know.)
