no - there is a distinct reason why there are 2 profile names - and it would be a unreliable system if one could override the values of what the real attributes of an executing program are.

HiWe have lot of RPG and RPGLE programs using program status data structure
to get current user id,

It is looking for position 254 263 which is User name from the user
profile.

But if we are calling this RPGLE program from java this will return QUSER as
user, to get the current user id we will have to look in position 358 367
which will be Current user profile name.

Now to do this we will ahve to go to all the RPGLE and RPG programs and
change them manually and then recompile them,

Is there a way i can create an override or some thing to get user id value
from 358 367 in place or 254 263, in other words some thing which i can do
externally and avoid changing all the RPGLE programs
