Ashish,
If what you want is the current user id of the user running the program, just define a 10 character stand alone field in the "D" specs with the keyword Inz(*User).
This will have the effect of loading the current user id into the field and you can then use it wherever you need in your program.

Hope this helps,

Subject: Override program status data structure

HiWe have lot of RPG and RPGLE programs using program status data structure
to get current user id,

It is looking for position 254    263 which is User name from the user
profile.

But if we are calling this RPGLE program from java this will return QUSER as
user, to get the current user id we will have to look in position 358    367
which will be Current user profile name.

Now to do this we will ahve to go to all the RPGLE and RPG programs and
change them manually and then recompile them,

Is there a way i can create an override or some thing to get user id value
from 358 367 in place or 254 263, in other words some thing which i can do
externally and avoid changing all the RPGLE programs
