The problem might be if that customer is using that modem on their B10 to:
- Call IBM (like a B10 would have a hardware maintenance contract).
- Be used for the OP to dial in and fix stuff.
- Be used for bisync EDI

Now, hooking it up to a router might cause an issue. Then again, a B10
probably can't do TCP/IP.

Alternative might be a local PC and using PC Anywhere (or some derivative)
to get remote access.
