I re-read your original post and have to ask this: Does your customer
have a UPS? That alone would solve the "utility power goes off
for under a minute a couple of times a week." comment you made. Did I
miss something.

Well, I'd be looking at QHST via the DSPLOG cmd around the time of
PWRDWNSYS cmd to see what was going on. Also the joblog(s) for that
BRMS
job as well. So the box was completely off with the Power Light
flashing?


DSPLOG is my main source of information. From my scribbled notes, ...
05:34:31 PWRDWNSYS issued, restart=(*YES *FULL).
05:35:10 .../QSYS/QSYSARB3 ended
09:12:03 Unattended IPL in process
There is nothing in the log between "QSYSARB3 ended" and "Unattended
IPL".

The IPL after nine o'clock started during a telephone call from the
system opterator. He said the power light was flashing slowly. I told
him to "push the white button", and the light started flashing faster.

What should I look for in the BRMS joblog? (I have to petition the
customer for each access to the machine.)
