The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We wrote a custom JOBQHLD and a custom JOBQRLS. These write to a file
which job queues got held. We don't record the names of job queues
previously held. When we run JOBQRLS it releases the job queues that are
in that file. We also have a file of exceptions - job queues that we do
not want held by JOBQHLD. For example QLPINSTALL.
So if your WRKJOBQ shows:
Queue Library Status
QBATCH QGPL RLS
MYJOBQ MYLIB HLD
QLPINSTALL QSYS RLS
And you run JOBQHLD you will see
Queue Library Status
QBATCH QGPL HLD
MYJOBQ MYLIB HLD
QLPINSTALL QSYS RLS
And if you then run JOBQRLS you will see
Queue Library Status
QBATCH QGPL RLS
MYJOBQ MYLIB HLD
QLPINSTALL QSYS RLS
Makes sense?
