Cross country shipping making a stop somewhere is not unreasonable. They
might have piggybacked it on a train to CA and then on from there. Much
like a flight from Fort Wayne to Cincinnati making an overlay in Orlando -
now that's unreasonable.
Was the shipment timely? Was the merchandise in good condition? Then
this concerns you, why?
Compass wise CA is only a few degrees off from WA when starting in
Chicago.
