Just my opinion but if you are going to do triggers make sure you use my
Trigger Mediator(www.think400.dk/downloads.htm). Putting a trigger on a
table directly is asking for trouble.

Mostly I wanted to find out where I was wrong in my understanding of how
the default values work. It may seem hard to believe but I'm the 'go to'
person for SQL questions and if I didn't understand the default clause
correctly I needed to figure it out.
