Subject: Re: Field Encryption on OS400

Hi, I've got several responses that will involve many hours of programming,
does everyone think that using a 3rd party product is not the best way to
go?
Thanks

Subject: Field Encryption on OS400

Hello folks, I know there are 3rd party options (Townsend/Linoma, etc.)?for
field encryption but b4 I look at those, does IBM have?a way to use
field?encryption on AS400 data???Our intention is to encrypt or mask fields
so
that only those users w/the key can view the encrypted fields.
Thanks, Frank
