For how many files? We've been writing home grown apps for over 25 years and haveÂthousands of files written by in-house FTE's as well as dozens ofÂconsultants. StandardsÂmay not have been adhered to and if I could buy a 3rd party package toÂdo this, it might be best.ÂÂDoes anyone else think that's appropriate?Â
Thanks

Hi,

Encrypt - OPM
C3ENCDT
Encrypt - ILE
c3EncryptData
Decrypt - OPM
C3DECDT
Decrypt - ILE
c3DecryptData
Hashing API

You can find some samples in my site under "sample code" section. I have done

ello folks, I know there are 3rd party options (Townsend/Linoma, etc.)?for
ield encryption but b4 I look at those, does IBM have?a way to use
ield?encryption on AS400 data???Our intention is to
encrypt or mask fields so
hat only those users w/the key can view the encrypted fields.
hanks, Frank
