You know here is the thing... If your moving off of M*PICS or something
similar doing an implementation of an ERP thats comperable is going to
cost way more than ponying up for the transfer fee.

Does the contract specify that they can charge for for a name change? If
so, then you should have negotiated that up front before purchasing their
package. If not, it is actionable. Sue them.
