Use passive mode (PASV) so the data connection is from the PC to the system i. When using NAT, you may have to configure the firewall to substitute the NAT address for the one sent by the FTP server in the PASV response. Or, your FTP client might ignore, or have a setting to ignore the address in the PASV response and connect to the same address the control connection uses. A GUI FTP client will show you all of the responses so you can see what is going on with the connection.
