Mine shows the same.

I wouldn't expect it to be a special PTF as we just went to v5r4 a few
months ago from v5r2.

From the IBM PTF database:

SI27213 - OSP WRKSPLF USRDTA FAILS WITH LOWER CASE LETTERS

Many of our field boxes were at v4r5, the developer who originally was
asking about it would have used it on one of those v4r5 boxes.

Odd. I wonder if there is a special ptf like the one for WRKJOB, option

14 Display open files to change the view of that? Or some environment
variable?

I did a DSPOBJD OBJ(QEZWRPRT) OBJTYPE(*PGM) DETAIL(*SERVICE)
and did not see a ptf associated with that.

I'm doing a WRKSPLF, my default is to have assistance level =
*INTERMEDIATE. So an F21 to change it to basic and I see the above
screen.

Try it via CHGUSRPRF ASTLVL() rather than for the WRKSPLF command.
