Loyd,

Thanks! You were on the right track.

WRKSPLF

I don't know where it comes from, but a report I sent to a printer and
didn't save show up in the resulting list.

WRKSPLF shows spooled files by outq, and status of each file in
human-readable terms. Note that you can only see "printed" files if they
are in SAV status. Files in FIN status are not (normally) viewable.

Subject: Is there a way to display spool files a writer has printed?

All,

All had a co-worker come up to ask me if I knew how to see the spool
files printed by a writer....he recalled doing it in the past while
working on teh helpf desk for users that'd say they didn't get a
report.  He check and tell them it was sent to the printer at such and
such a time....

From what he recalled, to see the info, you had to have your assitance
level set a certain way and the on some screen (DSPOUTQ?) there was a
function key that would show you what had been printed.

But he couldn't remember how to do it and I never heard of such
functionality.

Does this ring any bells?

Thanks,
Charles
