Subject: RE: LPAR question - primary partition ??
We've had this discussion before on this list. Well, not you
and I, but I
and others. We come from different paradigms when it comes
to printing.
We have no centralized printing - none. No printers in our
machine room
at all. The only one the operator has is plugged into her PC
only and she
hasn't figured out iSeries Access to make it a system printer
yet. We
have a few floor model printer/scanner/copiers that see
minimal usage. And
two or three desktop based laser printers. Other buildings
are pretty
much the same only they may also have a barcode label printer
or two. No
outsourced printing (unless you count using an outside
payroll service).
And since paystubs will be going back to email and everyone
gets direct
deposit or this funky debit card, then I really wouldn't
count that as
printing either.
