It's different in that the system does things like runstats and reorg
and things. SQL syntax should be basically the same. You have all the
stuff you would expect - collections, tables, views, etc. They're
implemented physically differently, but that's true for all databases.

I've taught classes for companies transitioning from z to i, and the
folks that knew DB2 and SQL didn't have a problem with the change. You
may find that you don't need/want to do things the same way, but you
pretty much can.
