I am primarily a conduit of information on this one. What I do know of the project is that the menus need to be soft coded. My understanding of UIM menus is that they are hard coded. That doesn't mean we are opposed to using UIM if we build one. It would just have to be flexible enough to allow changes without recompiling the menu(s).

Something wrong with plain vanilla UIM menus? I admit, the source language is a bit cumbersome, but we were able to work something out for a set of command-line utilities used for maintenance of our Wintouch product.
