Finally able to get back to this issue.

We have a 2844 MFIOP. My WRKHDWRSC *STG look like this;

Resource Type-model Status Text
CMB01 2844-001 Operational Combined function IOP
DC01 573E-001 Operational Storage Controller
CMB02 268C-001 Operational Combined function IOP
DC02 6B02-001 Operational Storage Controller

The 2749 is plugged in, but does not show. Will the 2844 IOP share
resources with the 573E-001 already in place? This box will be hard
to power down and swap card spaces, as it is a 24/7 web site server.

Any more ideas will be helpful. I will try another card slot as soon
as I can get the box turned off.

The 284x needs to be to the left of the 2749, but still in the same bus.
Keeping in mind that a single unit (5095, 0595, or whatever) may have 2 or
3 busses with 3 or so cards each.

The last 2749 and 3581 combo we had I sold to a fellow lister.
