Our problems are close, but not exactly.

For me, the Start works on both XP and W2K. Where XP fails, is when I try to
access data from the AS400. I cannot even map the network drive (though I
can connect using OpNav).

So i am completely lost at this point.

Vinay's problem seems to be somewhat close to mine since the
STRPCCMD('Start...') will not
run on some windows configs.

Are we getting closer?

Can you please clarify what you mean when you say it "works" or "doesn't
work"? Do you mean that it fails to pause? Or that the whole command
fails entirely?

I have seen the Start used in many posts regarding STRPCCMD, but it seems

it doesn't

work for me in whatever context.

When using:
STRPCCMD PCCMD('rundll32 url,FileProtocolHandler http://www.cnn.com')
it works.

What am I missing to understand ?
