I know this is a murky subject, but I'm trying to put some preliminary numbers together for budgeting and I'm having trouble finding ballpark estimates for the following:

We have a model 270 and a 520 and to my knowledge both are in the P10 tier. We have software maintenance on both systems.

We will likely go to V6R1 on both systems in 2009.

I know that RDi is $795/developer. Does 'per developler' enable my developers to work on both systems as is currently done now with WDSCi?
Compilers are split between heritage and ILE and the numbers I was able to find indicated that ILE compilers are $1795/processor and heritage are $1295/processor. ADTS is $795/processor.

Is this data mostly correct (other than possible tier correction on the 520) or am I way off?

Regards, Jerry

Jerry, When you 'upgrade' the 520 to V6R1 you will get a default number of users for WDS. I believe the P10 is '15' Named users. You will also get ALL of WDS, ADTS (seu, pdm etc), Heritage and ILE compilers etc. RDi is a Client Tool to my knowledge and is licensed by the PC user, not the system it is attaching to.
You can contact your IBM BP and they can run the upgrades through and tell you what will cost what.
On the 270 Have your BP configure you 'boxswap' to a M15 at V5R4. It may be concederably cheaper to take the 270 to the M15 then upgrade to V6R1 later than ordering a M15 at V6R1.
