And thanks for the boxswap suggestion Kirk - and as Rob mentioned the concern for user based pricing will need to be taken into consideration. That is our development system but it is also our production Domino server too. Usually there is less than 15 users signed on concurrently.

Jon - thanks for the pricing comments - yes we are current with software maintenance. Sounds like there shouldn't be any real surprises.

I think this gives me enough data to take to the budget meeting and inform the boss of what to be aware of when the time comes for the upgrades.

Well There 'may' be 1 surprise and that's Domino. IBM's User Based Pricing is wording something like...
A user is a person that 'authenticates' to the server or application. So you will need to determine how many users are 'concurrently' accessing Domino and get the appropriate licenses for those users...
