updated in the spreadsheet, AND deleted i5 records will be deleted from
excel, AND added i5 records will be added to excel?"

I use:

a) Data
b) Import External Data
c) New Database Query

After you define all the parameters and pull the data directly to the
spreadsheet, you can change the properties of that query and on the
REFRESH CONTROL box, you can check the box that says REFRESH EVERY ?????
SECONDS and you can set "n" number of seconds to refresh the spreadsheet.
