Not exactly sure how it should work. The users have developed a CellOkay - well, if the application is open all day and you need it refreshed, then Peter's suggestion is probably the best. But note that if you're going after master files like the BOM, that's potentially a whole lot of data. How are you going to choose only the rows you want?
Scheduling Calculator in Excel. Of course, the BOM and Routing Data are
originally maintained in the i5. So, when the BOM and/or routings
change on the i5, they do not want to have to also make the manual data
entry changes in the Excel.
Also, things like having a code field in the Excel which signifies if a
component is Purchased. Then, if a part gets changed from Mfg. to
Purchased, or vice-versa, in the i5, that should also be reflected in
the Excel "code" field.
Other things as well - just not sure what they may be now.
