This conversation, and this picture in particular, takes me way back.
When I was in college I was given a Tandy 10 - all I had to do was haul it
away. It worked fine, but consumed so much electricity I rarely even turned
it on. It took up a large enough chunk of my garage that parking a car in
there was not even conceivable, but it was a great conversation starter and
a workable desk. On cold winter days I could power her up just to heat the
garage.
Anyhow - just wanted to say thanks for inspiring the fond memories...
