Is it confirmed that "thunking" is what goes on with the n-bit versions of things in AIX? Are we chasing a red herring here?I don't think anybody was confirming anything one way or the other. If anything, I assume the opposite with MySQL for AIX, thus the two versions, one 32-bit and one 64-bit. That would be so that neither 32- nor 64-bit apps needed to thunk to call MySQL.
