I've converted virtually everyone in my current development shop to
multi-monitor adherents. I got my start in IT at an engineering
consulting firm. All the CAD guys had multi-monitors. The only way
to fly in AutoCAD. So when I got my hands on a spare dual-head card,
I threw it into my PC. Makes programming much easier.

When I left, I begged my current employer until he caved. Now we all
run dual-screen.

Why don't you have the same problem?

Is having more than one monitor the norm for companies in the USA?

Sorry about the rash decision yesterday. Consider it reversed.

I'm blaming it on having to work from home with only one monitor and no A/C for a day and a half.

I just had my AC repaired... in order to fix the AC, we had to have the heat on for half an hour. Miserable...

Anyway, thanks for the update. If nothing else, it shut down the bickering <grin>. Sometimes all I need is a pause.

Heck, in general I think I'd benefit from thread-specific outbound flood control... or maybe not even thread-specific <snicker>.
