First off, I doubt xurrancy provides a FTP interface of the data, I don't see one mentioned on the web
site. Nor can I imagine why'd they bother.

Secondly, if HTTP is blocked from your System i, it's quite possible FTP would be too.

I'd recommend talking to the network guys and your manager again. Also, if you have windows
developers, talk to them. See if they can access web services from their applications. If so, then
there's no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to also. I'd be willing to bet that the iPrism already
has the same types of exceptions set up for the windows servers as what you are asking for for the
System i.

You are not asking for an inbound hole in the firewall or anything, all you are asking for is
outbound.
