RE: SQL Encryption in V5R3

Yes, ENCRYPT_TDES SQL built-in became available with V5R4.

Not sure what problems you're running into with Qc3DecryptData api (if
that's what you're using), but google Carsten Flensburg and TDES. IIRC, he
wrote a series of articles on using encryption on the IBM i.

trying to use the cryptographic APIs, and am running into problems - I
thought I'd go the SQL route...but....it looks like V5R4 is when that
