We have sales & marketing people. They just don't have to resort to
cold-calling to generate leads. We do traditional things like
advertising and participating in projects generate interest. Our
corporate offices and hundreds of employees signed on for Earth Hour, we
provided some pro bono consulting to the City of Chicago to help develop
their bid for the 2016 Olympics. We donate to charity. We network
amongst our colleagues and peers. We author white papers & do research.
We do many things to up our profile.
And thanks for proving my point. Other than it being in my sig, I never
mention my employer by name. Without me doing anything to entice you to
find out about my employer, you took the initiative to look us up.
Imagine what companies who are actually looking for real estate service
providers will do if you will look us up without a need.
