We are getting ready to switch from password level 0 to level 2 and allow 128 character mixed/case passwords. According to the IBM manuals the system current keeps level 0 passwords in both all upper case and all lower case versions so when we switch to level 2 users should still be able to signon using a lowercase password. We looked at DSPAUTUSR info and all users are reported as having a level 2 password set. We do not let users do drive mappings to the IFS, at least not yet, so only programmers have mapped drives to access IFS. We are 99.9% sure that all users are running Client Access V5R1 or later (is there any way from the i5 side to tell for sure?) . We do use the mochasoft telnet clients for Macs and active browser access and we think these should work OK at level 2 but would like to hear from anyone who might know otherwise. We do not have a password validation program registered. We have a single i5 and no DDM, DRDA, SNA, NetServer print or QFileSrv.400 use. Is there anything else that anyone ran into when making this switch that we need to worry about?

Thanks
