The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I read the PMR. Wow! I commend your persistence. Keep at it. At
this point I would have expected the question to be asked of IBM "Do you
not, by this point, have the means to simply recreate the problem and
investigate the failing scenario yourselves?" It seems maybe they are
already aware they are there. I have added some comment to the internal
discussion to imply that IMNSHO there is a defect. Basically...
Having met the rules established in the policy and the authority
requirements to access the object, to have activated that retrieval,
there should be *no* authority errors from that point forward.
Restated: The retrieval should occur without any problem(s) due to
authority, once retrieval is deemed appropriate according to the ability
of the user to both access the object and to have met any policy rules.
P.S. The latest maintenance on v5r3 may have the same issue, so be
prepared to either experience the same issue there, or to remove the
PTF(s) for BRMS to get the expected functionality back.
Regards, Chuck
