The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I'm just curious to know if how many of you use BRMS Archiving
functionality. We have built successful archive process, and this how we
manage our DASD utilization. Then we allow the users to do dynamic file
retrieval, when they need a file that has been archived to query.
I just recently upgrade my backup production system to V5R4, and now when
I have a user attempting to do a dynamic file retrieval it fails because
they are not authorized to the object. This process works successfully on
my V5R3 box, and the same user and object authority on both systems. We
give the user's group profile access to the object.
Just wondering, if any of you had the same issue. I have a PMR open with
IBM support, but I can't believe we could be the only shop with the
problem.
