This is getting really annoying. For the customer, for our sales/support
rep, for me, and probably for a lot of people on this List.
This is the same customer as before, the one that was having trouble
getting Lotus and native SMTP to stop fighting each other. Now, messages
are getting misdirected.
(The email addresses are changed to protect the innocent)
We've got messages supposedly being sent to foo@xxxxxxxxxxx, and to
bar@xxxxxxxxxxx, and to quux@xxxxxxxxxxx (in that order). They're not
going to their intended recipients. Instead, they're all going to
foo@xxxxxxxxxxx, including the ones with TO addresses of bar@xxxxxxxxxxx
and quux@xxxxxxxxxxx).
I just double-checked the source code. The ADDT0100 structure is
implemented here as a global static RPG DS, and its address field is
getting its value from exactly the same place as the TO header. And it's
getting explicitly cleared (with an RPG CLEAR statement) before being
populated. And there's no way to get to the statement that calls
QtmmSendMail without executing the statements that populate the structure.
