Now for the dumb questions.

Lets say we want our midrange machine to have a server... let me call it Pluta, for discussion. Lets say I want an intranet website of http://reports.trevor.int installed and running on Pluta.
1-How long would it take a person to arrange that, saying his experience was having already done it two or three times?
2-Would one use Operations Navigator to do it?

So, I asked here. The response convinced him.

Wow.. how holy was that? It did not even deserve a capitalized "Holy"!

Fair question. Another guy and I want to develop some web stuff (and
eventually be good enough at it to get paid for doing it. :) ) We have
midrange backgrounds and believe that RPG alone is not where we want to
be.
I was arguing that we could help smaller companies leverage their
midrange applications & staff by getting some of their midrange reports
onto an intranet web site, on their midrange machine. His position was
that the i5 is not a solution for web serving. So, I asked here. The
response convinced him.

We've been playing around with gwt & Eclipse.

Wow, if only all holy wars could be stopped that easily.

Question is, which choir are you in and which manual page are you
reading now :-)

Wow! What great responses! The Holy War here is stopped. :) Now ee
both are in the choir and on the same page in the hymnal.

Now all the other guy and I need to do is to find some organization that
wants a couple of capable midrange guys to put a up a simple web app on
their midrange machine as a learning experience for them and us.
