The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Not exactly. Symbolic links can be used to invoke QSYS programs within
the "Unix-like" QShell environment. I/O is still limited to stream file
support, and I use the stream file APIs to access stdin and stdout to
pass parameters. In general, I've seen this used in two ways: either to
invoke business logic written in RPG or COBOL, or to execute ILE C
programs (which know all about stdin and stdout).

So, Keith, are you saying that I can use QSHELL to
CALL '/home/mydir/myreallylongprogramname' and it will pull up the BPCS
order entry screen?
