Heck I'd consider it.

You got a backup, and it's not like lose of the HMC would bring down the i5.

Unless you need to move resources a lot.

Well, just how stupid would it be to try the upgrade from 7.3.1.0 to 7.3.2
without running Backup HMC data? Keeping in mind that I have two HMCs.
Just in case it is software and not hardware.
