Very True re tape formats. But I can usually find a 2749 and LTO1 if I have
to :) It's quicker to install the card than deal with QIC or 8mm. LTO is
common enough for most customers doing upgrades.

270's had CD readers as I remember. I will say that I had less "media not
found" messages using a CD reader as opposed to a DVD reader.

If I am already, going to save the IFS stuff, saving and restoring the
IMGCLG objects is a miniscule amount of time, but I agree it's hardly
difficult to recreate them. I've done both.

IMGCLG's are still one of my favourite enhancements of recent times.

That's a good idea. However, the main advantage of CD over tape is the
universality of the media. With tapes, you can run a gamut.

Did 270's come with DVD readers or just CD readers? You don't suppose
that's why they dropped 270's, eh?

And it's not so bad to just save the ifs stuff. CRTIMGCLG and ADDIMGCLGE
TOFILE(*FROMFILE) is real quick.
