Or if not you can bring over qusrsys (at the lower OS level) and then
reinstall qusrsys from the CD for the current OsS level and that will
convert the old QUSRSYS to the latest OS version and retain all your
settings, etc.

Paul,
Are both machines at the same i5/OS level and PTF level? I always
bring over QUSRSYS from one box to the other, and all my TCP settings and
Directory entries are there. This works when the machine name stays the
same and the IP addresses as well.

Subject: Directory entries
List,
I am in the process of porting stuff from a 520 to a 525. There are hundreds
of users. Somewhere along the way, somebody got the bright idea that there
needed to be a directory entry in WRKDIRE for every user, so when a user
profile was added, a directory entry was created. The young IT guy is
nervous, and he wants everything brought over "as is".
My question is this: Can I make a copy of the QAOK* physical files on the
520 and drop them into my library on the 525 and then perform a CPYF *ADD
into the files in QUSRSYS on the 525?
I don't want to hose anything up, nor do I want to key everything.
Thanks.
