I have worked with IBM many times on various schemes that could be
used to make systems available for "part time" developers - but
nothing has ever come to fruition. I had hoped that when the
Academic Initiative got its act in gear and located a central system
in Denver (?) for use by all schools in the program, that it would be
used as a model and we'd finally have something but no such luck.
