The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I assume you'll also need the SQL licensed program to use that?

Re: Can I run an SQL statement inside a CL?
<snip>
QSH CMD('db2 "select * from lib.file FETCH FIRST 12 ROWS ONLY"')
</snip>
First, thanks.
Second, if one is a vendor I would think through imbedding this. Because,
you would then have to say your software now requires that the customer
install
5722SS1-30 QShell. However, it's probably fair to say that a majority of
anything I've installed lately has required that, and option 33, PASE.
Imbedding SQL in RPG (or if they add it into CL) is another animal.
Because, in that case, they'll always have runtime support. If they want
to MODIFY your code, that's a different animal.
