Once again, your arguments don't hold water...
Being a united community has nothing to do with capitulating to be ripped
off. Capitulation to being ripped of is just bad business...perhaps you
prefer that kind of business model...it would explain a few things.
Personally, I don't like to over pay for something. Clearly, you don't have
a problem with that.
