I would like to map a drive on my PC to the IFS, similiar to QDLS.

I know with QDLS, I have to use the "Net Use" command in DOS.

Is there something similar to map my IFS?

Given that QDLS **IS** in your IFS you are already half-way there. NET USE is the command line interface to SMB. It will work for any share defined on the host.

We are at V4R5, old!!

Doesn't matter.

Set up a share (using Navigator or one of the various command-line tools) to the directory you want and

either:
access it via SMB client (Windows Network Neighbourhood, NET USE, etc.)

or
from and Windows menu bar take Tools->Map Network Drive and follow the prompts
