These 2 problems may or may not be related.

For a while now I have not been able to delete files in QDLS. I suspect it might be related to V5R4 since so many things have changed regarding QDLS. I have tried OpsNav, WRKLNK and as a last resort the Windows explorer. They appear to be deleting but never go away. I get no error, no joblog that I can see.

Also, this morning, my operator was not able to move spool files to an OUTQ that has been around forever. It's an OUTQ that has no printer attached. We use it to store daily reports for a few days until we are sure there are no problems. She's been doing this for over 10 years the same way. It was fine last week. I am not aware of anything that changed ... except we had an unexpected power outage and went down hard on Thursday. BTW, I tried to move a spool file to that OUTQ and it did not work. No error. Nothing in the job log. And I have *ALL object authority. Is it possible the OUTQ object was damaged? How could I tell? Or how can I fix this?

Ideas?

Thanks!
Mary
